Pyros weapon rng stats

ok so thought I would post my experience so far after 3 days of spending a crazy amount of time 'light farming' the rng stat system i found a bit confusing at first, Ive been doing my blm weapon which I was very happy with up until now, Max ss /crit hit and 5 mat slots, and tbh i have really enjoyed the eureka experience so far, even pagos lol, from the unique experience to seeing people go out of their way to help, to the nostalgic old skool style grinding of pagos, and the result for a non raid player an ok weapon, i have always enjoyed relic quests zeta/ animus, even going back to eq i loved doing my relic quest, so ok : first off I done the 3rd upgrade and lost the secondary stats, but thought ok light grind time, so I first got spell speed of 104, and thought ok perfect i want my ss/crit back, then I got crit and thought ok Iam one of the lucky ones I'll add that, then looked and saw it had removed the ss??? to which I thought what the ...... ? so ok I thought it must have to be in the same stat slot, so a few junk rolls later I got crit again, and straight after another crit, and it added them, so i had 294 crit, then again a few junk rolls , I then get a crit/ determination roll, of 94 crit and 180 determination and i thought ok I'll take that for the extra crit and hopefully replace the det, but it wiped the crit again...... so I just had 94 crit and 180 det, so im guessing say I wanted crit/ ss to keep adding I would literally have to keep getting that exact roll of crit/ ss?? I don't often moan but this is sooooooo bad, thats 3 days of wasted light grind I have put alot of time into eureka and my end result at the moment is a useless weapon I cant use, to the point where Ive had to pay to get a 380 crafted one made for me to use, Im guessing I could re- roll for months and not get anything close to what I want, I dont mind putting time in and grinding, but this is verging on being a joke, Iam really hoping someone can point something out Ive missed or Ive hopefully just not understood the upgrade system/ got it wrong, if not the devs/ yoshi p should be ashamed of themselves

upon everytime you go to reroll stats you can either keep what you have or take the new amounts you get. you can repeat this ad nauseum until you are satisfied. it does not build upon what you have already rolled. either way your crystals get consumed whether you take the new stats or not.

I got a whopping 125 DH for all my hours of grinding. That is the best rng have given me so far. To be honest as long as I can continue to work on that weapon in the next area im not that bothered, mine is for glamour. But for people who want to actually use these weapons its awful.
I think they should come with a very basic and useable set of substats and that the light grind should be there to roll to make those better, as if its more of an optional step.

It's been a minute since it's release and I thought I'd share what stats I was able to roll onto my Pyros katana.

465 Skill Speed
325 Critical

I now sit at a little over 2000 crit and 2500 skill speed at i379.

Now I run out of TP 3 minutes into any given fight and have to basically Invigorate off CD. Worth it.

2.0: You could choose what Materia to try and meld in for stats.

3.0 You could choose how to spend your Crystal sands.

4.0 HOLD ON RNGESUS IS TAKING THE WHEEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Don't like the roll start over from scratch!)

It sound like some people just be capricious and look up for easy way.
Went through that and had no complaints,hard with worth reward,as it should be.Worth it.
Eventually nobody force anyone to do anything,run with what you want.
