    Fanfest Security Rules

    So I noticed that Fanfest 2018 will have more stringent rules on security for the second visit at The Rio. LVPD will be present (of which my last time dealing with them in 2014 was not pleasant, but it is what it is), metal detectors will be present and so on.

    What are the rules on bags? Electronics? I usually carry a multi-tool with me (I forget it even exists until I need it), but I suppose I'll need to leave it.

    I don't want to get down there with my backpack and be turned away because I have "too much metal" or electronic devices beyond a phone are banned or otherwise.

    A backpack with things like electronics and snacks shouldn't be a problem. But nobody needs a multitool in a Vegas casino. That's best left in your room.
