Dear developers, ''Pyros'' does not actually mean ''Fire'' in Greek!

With great sadness I necro this thread.. rise! Rise from the dead!!

As a Greek I am absolutely honored to have Greek words in Japanese games to describe things- anything! Monsters, locations, abilities... really, it is truly an honor amongst true Greeks.
This.. "Pyros" thing? Completely fine.. How Greek words are used differ all the time. It doesn't have to make sense as long as you get it.
To obtain Greek citizenship, one thing is understood about "pyr"- it means to fire (or shoot I suppose). Military service is mandatory in Greece and it is the only means to obtain citizenship. Well, unless of course you find the way around it..

before vowels anem-, word-forming element meaning "wind," from Greek anemos "wind," from PIE root *ane- "to breathe."

They aren't following a strict formula though. We have "Hydatos" instead of Hydros; Pagos instead of Cryos, etc. They're named in Sharlyan fashion and from Sage abilities, we know now that Sharlyan uses ancient greek/proto-indo European.
