It's rare to find a game totally devoid of bots, but they've scarcely shown signs of trying to deal with anything other then the RMT bots, and the fact that they still haven't come up with a remotely effective solution to them despite using the exact same methods since 2.0 dropped is kind of laughable.

They used to not even list bans for botting in its own category and only started doing so after people complained about the lack of action in the Q&A thread for one of the live letters. However, I've yet to notice any discernible changes in how often non-RMT bots are being removed (AKA never) despite me reporting them regularly still, so it really just comes across as a poor attempt to save face.

My experience with the GMs in WoW was WAY better, as if I reported a gather bot, it would be gone within a few days tops, often within the same day I reported it, plus the GMs would actually contact me and either say the issue was resolved or that they didn't see a reason to act and needed more details. Granted, they still suffer from issues with PvP bots, but I at least actually got results from them there.

They're almost certainly including the RMT bots within their total number of registered accounts they boast about, so they could very well not be finding a lasting solution for them strictly to bloat that number.
