    I don't think price history should be shown at the search counter.

    It should be moved to the retainer so that people can check the price history before selling an item, this way it reduces the need to check prices at the search counter which encourages undercutting. (oh and takes far too much time)

    Add an average price at the bottom of the price history would also lessen undercutting.

    You could remove price history completely and just have the average show, which would make undercutting even less likely.
