As the title states, I am suggesting that some of the resources devoted to minion creation in the future are allocated to the creation of a Maine Coon minion. It could be a reward from...pretty much anywhere, really. Just please don't gate it behind ranked PvP!


Since there isn't a 'Maine' in Hydaelyn, to our knowledge, then some other regional name would likely be better suited to replace it. Given their size and fluffy fur they're well suited to frigid regions. Perhaps their in-game equivalent could be native to Garlemald or Coerthas, as those regions are described as being on the cold side.

If this seems like a bit of a random or obscure request...the idea came to me as a result of my own Maine Coon frequently sitting on my lap as I play FFXIV. Plus, cats are great - and that's as good enough a reason as any to add more feline minions!

I will compromise on a Nekopara collab that gives me a Coconut minion.

If we add a Maine Coon to the game, in any form, there will be tufts of lint everywhere. There will be murder mitten prints on our helmets. There will be "play with me NOW "merowwww" exactly when your queue pops. There will be full speed accelerations that end on top of the refrigerator. There will be endless staring as we carve the steak, then equally endless nose-up and gone, because it wasn't diced ham, even though his highness the furface KNEW what it was by nose, half an hour ago. There will be repeated full-scale snooze right where Purr knows we walk, followed by fully indulged insult when we walk there. Worst of all, the "I wanna go outside" never ends, until you take his highness outside whereupon you get this look, like, "why are we outside; the food is INSIDE..?"

I vote no on Maine Coons.

As always, I appreciate the lovely cat pictures! Honestly, more feline minions and mounts in general would make me a very happy man. I meant to reply sooner but lost the bookmark to this thread...
