Cant log in to EU lobby server

Just starting the game up after the patch and i cant get past the Stormblood title screen.
I het the message "The lobby server connection has encountered an error." 6001
Then i get booted back to the launcher.

I apologize for any connection issues you are having. In order get a better sense of the problem, please provide the the following:

-Wired or WIFI connection
-Other programs being used when running FFXIV
-Everything you have tried to resolve the issue
