Please stop making Eureka

Eureka, by some peoples thoughts, is successful for them. Glamours clearly havent been, due to all the complaining here on the forums.

Ultimate is probably about as successful as eureka, probably less actually, in terms of number of people able to access and do the content.

Ultimate also takes a fraction of the resources and was made for a fraction of the playerbase. The only thing locking ppl out is the skill requirement and effort. Eureka on the other hand was made for the majority, takes no skill and barely any effort so if its just as successful as Ultimate that really speaks to how bad Eureka is, it says nothing about Ultimate other than ppl actually enjoy doing it because they feel its worth the effort.

Honestly eureka takes a lot of skill to stay awake and a lot of effort to bring yourself to go in there again.

But Ultimate takes considerably less time and resources to produce because it reuses virtually everything. Furthermore, it's only intending to cater towards the hardcore demographic whereas Eureka wants a more general audience. 1% for Ultimate makes it successful when compared against its target audience, thus making that percentage significantly higher. Meanwhile, 5% for Eureka is a disaster because that means content designed for a much larger audience was widely rejected.

The fanbase was near unanimous in expressing disapproval of a 3rd ultimate. Between the people playing it and the audiences they get from streaming it, Ultimate is easily the most successful content added this expansion.

Meanwhile if SE said they were gonna throw the final Eureka in the bin and just boost the weapons to max level to compensate, there'd be near unanimous cheering.

Diadem has sucked all three times they've made it. It baffles the mind why they keep doubling down on it

And how many more people does it keep playing, and what is the effect of those players in particular on others? I know many a player who would lose interest in progression without a big baddie at the end to actually tackle. Ultimate gave that, and, when no further was slated for development, they quit. I've yet to see someone quit over grind content not hitting reward-obsolescence sooner so it can be replaced by more of basically the same.

I’m not happy the new hairstyle is in Eureka but I’m sure RMT will be ecstatic with their decision to put it in there. I miss the days when I could log on and get new hair on patch days. It was easy and cheap character customization we could have that won’t cause their servers to go into nuclear meltdown, since we get that excuse when we ask them for just about anything else.

Anyway, please just burn Eureka already.
