Companion App: Inactive Character

Prior to the 4.45 patch, my companion app worked fine but after this update, whenever I activate the app, I am told to re-select my character. Re-selecting the same character as I did before the patch resulted in the error message that it is an 'Inactive Character'. After this error message, I am automatically logged out of the app. This cannot be true because I just logged into the character just before the patch. Also, after the patch, I need to login every time I activate the app (i.e., enter my user name, password, security etoken number).

Thanks for your reply. I tried again after a couple of hours and it downloaded the info from the server. I can access the character now.
