Got the spice rack and wooden cups as well as the emote (from my single heat warped lockbox) from Pyros. The spice rack and wooden cups came from normal boxes. Would not surprise me if they turned out to be very common.

The people who don't want to do Eureka content are actually in better shape than those that don't want to PVP. At least the Eureka items are tradable. If you want the PVP furnishings then you've got no choice but to suck it up and PVP

There are a lot of furnishings available from crafting. In fact, the vast majority of furnishings are from crafting. There's nothing wrong with adding furnishings that are obtainable in other kinds of content. Non-crafters want to be able to decorate and earn gil too. Of all the complaints I've seen lately, this one boggles me the most.

So far I've gotten a set of wooden cups, wooden plates and glass jars. Nothing really impressive and its not like house has enough items slots for all the extra crap anyway. -_-

I actually very much love the look of all the new items, because now I can finally work towards making my kitchen look lived-in with odds-and-ends (baskets of food, cups, jars, spices, etc.) instead of just "all of the furniture is here and that's it".
I agree, however - now that we're starting to get our coveted knickknacks, we have got to get more space.
