Is this possible? When editing a post, sure I can change the title however this doesn't change the actual thread's name, only the bold text at the beginning. I read somewhere that it was but following their step did not work.

Hmmm well nvm changing the title in edit DID change this thread's name however when I try to change the name of an important thread of mine, the name does NOT change in accordance to the title edit. Is there a rule of some sort that limits thread name changing? Mayhap if enough people reply to it, it becomes name locked?

Have you tried double clicking the thread in the forum view? It's technically a shortcut but the true thread renaming tool is limited to moderators.
I have not tried that before, thanks. What is the forum view? (new to these forums)
It's just the page where the threads are.

Ohh, hmmm I tried to double click it but nothing happened.
You're allowed to change the title of your thread for a short time, something like 5 minutes, after that only moderators can change it. Your best bet is starting a new thread.
Ah alright that makes sense, thanks for the clarification.
