So, how is Pyros?

I like Pyros a LOT better than Pagos. It feels less punishing than Pagos.

That being said...

I still hate that the bunnies lead you to your death in the early levels.
I hate that the Eldthurs horn is locked behind the chance to get a gold chest from a Bunny. RNG on top of RNG on top of RNG with death sprinkled in for good measure.
I hate that we only get three slots to use Logos actions and that once we use one, it's only good for that instance. I'd like to be able to store like 3 of them elsewhere - not in my Logos bar to use, but...elsewhere.
I hate how I use one of the better Logos actions and then the instance dies out. It's almost like I've got to fill the Logos bar with "junk" ones and swap out if the instance grows.

I like the uniqueness of the actions. I love being a Dragoon and rezzing people after a big fight. #feelsgoodman
Leveling speed and XP from NMs is awesome. More of that, please.
I like how nicely spaced out the aetherytes are, and how it doesn't take forever to be able to attune to them.
Although we've seen these NMs before as other bosses, I like how many of them still have individual moves and techniques and tells we have to learn.

I was hoping for the Thief / Plague Doctor / Duelist sets from the Arboretum.

As it is, the housing items seem to have taken their place as common drops this time.

Rather disappointing as it seems like it should be minimal work to add both, since it's just reusing existing models.

It's alright. There are a lot of chokes where they put mobs that are hard to dodge - basically a toned down version of the sleeping dragons. Think the shark corridor in Anemos but like 10-20 of them. You eventually outlevel most of them but makes doing bunnies and traveling to NMs a bit annoying although that was probably the intention. The mob density is really high and tightly packed, which makes it easier to find decent chain camps. Also makes it so it is harder to reset monsters and travel so you get a ton of them at each NM. Groups of 10+ mobs block area access impeding movement until you out level them or train them and kill yourself and have someone raise you on the other side of the mess.

I'd say its 50/50 Anemos/Pagos design merged together.

The logos actions are pretty nice (there's even one with an apparent reraise proc buff), just wish they weren't consumable unless you actually use all the charges for the ones that have them. They are nice for solo/light parties. Really should have been in from the beginning.

With each step in Eureka, it gets more and more fun. I honestly havent even bothered doing any other content since Anemos came out.

Im enjoying Pyros so much more compared to Pagos. Im just bummed with the zone aesthetically. Half the zone is basically a smaller Pagos, I was really expecting a huge version of Hell's Lid or something, especially when you looked at the area from Anemos it was much different :/

There is a fair bit more snow on the map compared to what one would expect with a name like Eureka Pyros.

Seems terrible to me. Tired every time go in puts me in a instance with 15 or less people in it. That's total bs. They need to change it where puts you in area that has bunch people in it and not just a few. Last time I waited 5 minutes and only gain 1 person in those 5 minutes. If they fix this problem maybe I try it out again. Least when I enter Pagos its always full of players.

I have still not yet brought myself to even try Pagos. Even with the supposed nerfs, I'm still tentative to have to deal with low party turnout, high RNG light farming and high RNG rewards with a high amount of time investment for little to no real rewards, and the apparent competitive attitudes of other players in the instance. Maybe things are a bit different now with the patch? I'm just waiting to see what the actual verdict is on Pyros before I decide if it's truly worth it to bother getting back into Eureka or to just stay out of it for good.
