No change to the light gain in pagos...well that's a lot of people falling behind, including me.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results.

Saw the patch notes and the pic of the new mount. Pretty sure that mount will be from Pyros meaning I won't be able to get it. Always pain me to see mounts that I can never own like the whisper mount that looks so good but unattainable for new players.
What's stopping you from getting it?
There's still a fairly decent chunk of time between the present day and the next expansion. Eureka is the biggest time sink that we're going to get during that period so there's a high chance that each Eureka map will still have players running content. The developers will also likely make further adjustments as necessary to make it easier to catch up.
the light gain is fine, it's the fact that you only ever see 2-3 fates an hour that's the problem. I've not seen the louhi fate a single time since the last patch, despite grinding corpses.

But does this eliminate the need to go to Pagos and farm Loui on Ice? For the last couple weeks when I was in there and it was off timer no one seemed to want to bother farming it for a pop. I think Pazuzu is still being farmed more often than Loui..

There could still be light grinding, unless you have to get all 50 actions per weapon. Getting the actions probably just unlocks the quests where you trade in light or crystals or sexy moth lady baubles.
