PS4 - No login screen on launcher

Hi, there's no login screen. I tried to turn my PS4 off and on again but it's not working. The area on the launcher where you login stays black.

I have the same issues every day trying to login. It’s taking me hours and hours to login every day and sometimes I got in for a few seconds only to be 90k out. Been going on for two weeks now. Getting really annoyed and not sure if I should just give up and cancel subscription. Basically paying for something that I can’t play is pointless.

Good morning Eleoza and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

This usually stems from a connection issue. We did experience some network issues over the weekend, so this may be contributing to the black screen you are experiencing.

These network issues seem to have cleared up, but if you are still experiencing this issue, I'd recommend checking some of the following:

    1) Reset your router by turning it off for a few minutes, then back on.

    2) Please make sure that "Cookies" and "JavaScript" are ENABLED on the PSN Browser. This can be done by going to the web browser on the PS4, press the options button, then go to settings. The options for Cookies and Javascript will most likely be checked, uncheck them and then recheck them.

    3) Check the following Port Ranges on your router/modem to ensure that the following Port Ranges have been opened:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040
Your ISP can open these ports for you.

    4) Preferably, use a wired Ethernet connection as opposed to a wireless one if you are not already.

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!
