from what a few said here and there, japanese players aren't happy whit eureka, to them, it seems what unless we complain, SE won't fix stuff suposedlyI don't do eureka but if anything this basically makes me think what a huge bullet I dodged for not sinking time into it.
Still great job but it's a shame they won't even read it and instead - and most likely - read the positive stuff from Eureka from the JP forums instead.
Those few they'll be able to find at least...

I also agree with a good chunk of what Aster_e stated besides the comment about final fantasy 8. Outside of xi, ff8 is my favorite final & that's because I think 8 got the most realistic storyline of them all. Besides, triple triad cards game initially came from ffviii (unless im mistaken…) & it was great back then, afterward imo triple triads started going downhill with ff9 & now on here. I had hopes that it would allow us to be competitive with cards & let us win them in between players with cards pvp or even let us exchange them in between us but of course there is none of that...

Unless major changes are made this will be the only relic I do not complete.
The few of you saying you liked VIII are fine. Out of the FFs I disliked, it's just the one I like to poke fun at the most, whereas mentioning the other ones I disliked would have felt like beating a dead horse.

This should be pinned to the top until the feedback is reviewed by SE. Really well written and I agree with just about everything you said.

Please read this Square Enix. Its important feedback from your customers.

I think they way they handled the lockboxes this time around was very poorly handled as well.
In Anemos, we only had the one type of box and you got a lot of them. This could be seen as a bad thing, as it meant a flood of minions, glamour, and housing items on the MB. But I think it kept the people who wanted to avoid Eureka, out of Eureka because they could just buy these goodies off the board. With the exception of the mount and barding, but with how many boxes you get from the FATEs you could easily get this done without having to hit level cap. Sure you had a lot of trash because of how many boxes you were obtaining, but to be honest, the worst offender was probably the housing items since they didn't stack and were very common.
In Pagos they decided those rewards needed to be locked behind layers of RNG. The boxes from FATEs are barely worth it for the materia and glamour items. Hiding the minions and emote behind an RNG mutation, and RNG drop rate on obtaining the boxes, and the appallingly low drop rate (on the emote specifically) when opening the boxes, has made the prices on these things ridiculously high. The emote was going for a solid 50mil for a while and even now is still about 20mil on my server. The minions are a bit more reasonably priced at around 500k-2mil, which is about normal for minions on Gilgamesh but still a little on the higher side...especially compared to Anemos's minions which are all under 100k.
I also don't understand why they added the need to craft items to get rewards from some of FATEs. The drop rate for items like the Scorpion Harness, the Strider Boots, and the like was fine in Anemos. Heck, I think even the droprate for Pazuzu's housing item is better than the drop rate for Louhi's TT card.
Just my two cents.

Excellent thread, and I agree with basically every point here. I refuse to enter Pagos again, it just seems like it was designed specifically as punishment to players. And it really is a shame, because I think the region is absolutely gorgeous. Of course, I know that means I'll never get the chance to try out Pyros, but I honestly do not care anymore. The awfulness of that snowy wasteland has utterly exterminated my will to continue in Eureka.

It will be soloable if they remove the elemental wheel sync from fates. Maybe even unsync levels for the fates with great rewards.
Nerfing the wheel for fates was one of the first changes they made to eureka way back when.
