I just started playing the new mobile version of the old MMO RuneScape that recently got released, and in that game they have a feature that I feel that XIV sorely needs.

If you go to the bank in that game there is a poll booth that you can interact with that the developers use to gather feedback from the players. Questions will be asked such as "Should this questline be added to the game", and "How should this piece of content be added to the game?", Where the players will vote yes or no, and the communities response being public information.

Naturally these questions are too impactful to be replicated entirely across to XIV (I should add that this is also the legacy build of the game), but I think that having a poll booth in-game that allows developers to get an idea of player reactions to content announced in live letters, and content that has just been released (and for the playerbase to know how everyone else feels about certain features) is only a good thing, and will prevent vocal minorities from projecting narratives and give a very clear picture of what the community at large wants
