I realised why noone plays PVP anymore!

Why would you? I mean seriously? The new rewards were not even announced anywhere, i myself too just accidentally found them at a vendor. (the mount and stuff)
But what else is the reason to do PvP? What are you after if you don't know what to win? In dungeons you know it will be loot, in raids you know it will be loot, in eureka you know you will have a relic, so why would you do PvP? For some glamours? That will draw the players to PvP? Are you sure?

The pvp gears are now only glamours, wich is a great help for gearing yourself for PvP, because you dont have to gear up at all. But i remember getting the base itemlevel for the first few dungeons/raids in Heavensward by doing PvP, because it was the easier (and faster) way! With this the game lost mosltly or all "PvE-only" players in PvP.

Some PvP maps are just weirdly overcomplicated (Astralagos, seriously how many of you know what to do down there? Because i remember when i first joined, i was like wtf is that, wtf is the other thing, what can i or should i do?) or the other bad thing is in PvP when you have to rely on absurd luck. (like the crystal shattering maps or the one with capturing the rods)

And don't tell me the luck based maps are easily fixed with strategy. Try using strategy on players who are not reading chat in PvP or too much focused on fighting + add to that most Eu players like myself are writing weirdly, because its not our main language, and some players not even speak it at all! And if i am not in PvP or anyone who is willing to "take controll" and give out orders, then how are they gonna win a game? Not everyone born as a leader-type, i am too doing this usually beacause out of frustration!

The most easily learnable and no luck-based gamestyle is in the Feast and thatswhy that is the only PvP wich is not dying yet.

I feel super unmotivated doing PvP in Stormblood. In Heavensward when i needed ilvl i went to PvP. When i heard the Garo mounts are limited-time only i rushed to do PvP. Now why would i rush to PvP?

I really do find the large-scale battles boring as hell with the current combat system. It works (somewhat) in feast, but is horrendously boring to play with in a larger environment

They should come up with rewards for the Frontline leaderboards and make it similar to The Feast rankings (each datacenter to their own instead of worldwide, seasons and Top100).

They need to make lots of smaller maps, make it 8v8, with objectives that's different from what we have so far. I am getting pretty sick of the same 3 maps over and over, that you spend the majority of the time riding on mounts and waiting.

I used to do pvp when I was strapped for cash. There's certain items that desynth into some stuff that sells for a tasty amount on the marketboard.

I really enjoy frontline when we load into an undersized group of 24 instead of 72.
I think its too big for its own good, we need some kind of intermediate mode with a slightly smaller map, maybe 75% of the size.

Something said in party chat the other say: "We're losing but damn if this isn't fun."

We more or less just decided to constantly fight. The way to win, of course, is to fight minimally and focus on objectives but then... you spend so much time travelling and maneuvering and... Well, yeah, you highlighted the problem perfectly.
