Oh man if only there was some way to pass the time while still making progress. Like, say, I dunno, maybe some of those "pointless" side quests that you refuse to do for some arbitrary reason.

Buy a jump potion.

I get enough experience from quests and the occasional roulette to level up two classes at once just from that.It is so profoundly stupid that I can only level one class by questing, and that's if I do the MSQ with it. Side quests do not give enough experience to level, even when combined with hunting logs, which also give a pointless about of experience.
The fact I am FORCED to use palace of the dead to level any class other than my first is just stupid. To get to level 50, it's over a hundred runs of palace. How do you expect people to do that and not get burnt out?
There are plenty of other ways to level apart from Palace of the Dead: Dungeons, roulettes, FATEs, hunt logs.
Leveling up all classes and jobs, now that is a grind and a half - true. Leveling up two or three classes? Not much grinding needed.

You know what's funny?
Before PotD, before even preferred world exp boost, before even jump pots AND before SB, I capped my smn job. What sucked even more was that I still couldn't access expert roulette and part of my lvling roulette was incomplete because at that point, I had not finished msq.
How was this possible? Because exp was everywhere and still is BUT ONLY if you actually go look for it. Fates, hunting logs, dailies, weekly challenge log. Halfway into lvling my drg cuz I didn't want to waste msq exp on capped smn, the pre-nerf PotD came. Not the 51-60 speedrun opprtunity PotD, nah, the agonizingly slow 1-50, chance of floor bracket wipe because your party members decided today was a good day to commit ingame suicide PotD.
So yeah OP, you got no excuse. There's leveling opportunity everywhere under the sun right. Alliance Roulette wasn't even a thing during the time I was playing. So give me a break.
Healing DRK is literally... the same since ShB. The reason why people think it's a meme to heal nowadays because DRK receives very little to no buff to their sustainability vs 3 other tanks getting something useful. If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.
There's absolutely no need in heavy grind if you are not in some crazy rush to get all the jobs to 70 as fast as possible.
Took me about a year to get to this, I'm not playing every day and apart of the weekends, I do only daily roulettes (leveling, trial and alliance raid).
No PotD or HoH grinding was involved here.

Seconding the recommendation for squadrons to help level. Instant queues, and you can learn your role and how to play your job as you level. I used to go through Halatali > Brayflox > Stone Vigil > Darkhold when I was leveling, and now I believe there are more above 50, too. If you get the squadron battle manuals from sending them out, they're great to pop whenever you head into a dungeon as well.
Okay, im slightly confused. What are squadron and alliancde raid? I have not unlocked either of those yet.

Okay, so OP isn't even 50 yet.
At 50, the game literally falls over itself trying to give you EXP, but even before 50 you have the beast tribe dailies, hunting logs, FATEs, multiple side quests, not to mention levelling roulette which actually gives increased EXP because, well, the clue is in the name.
It got to the point where I was constantly switching jobs because I didn't want EXP to go to waste.
OP, you have barely scratched the surface of the game and your original post smacks of ignorance - although I will give you the benefit of the doubt and be of the opinion your ignorance is just because you actually did not know, rather than wilful ignorance.
Keep going, you'll soon see...
I found the quest ounlock beast tribe dailies. Need to be 43 to complete it, still only 36.
