Free Companies

I read cearfully all roadmap to v2.0. it's realy great. But I don't understand one thing, when will we get free companies?
In System and content pdf-file sayded after 2.0, In roadmap file we can see that it sould be made by June. In bluegartr interview sayded " we hope to address this along with the Free Company issue on Lodestone really soon". So when? After v2.0, after 1.22 or soon mean 1.20. I don't get it.

I'm interested to hear the answer to this as well, assuming you are talking about private companies. My old LS was so hyped about those coming out. We were also excited about having our own ships to sail the seas.

With all of the changes to the game and the future plans, I'm a bit worried that some of these ideas might have been forgotten somewhere along the way.

i think free company's are in 1.22, but i could be wrong. there was a dev post saying that LS revamps were gonna be in 1.21 too.

What exactly is a free company? How would they work?

I remember reading Yoshi say that he didn't forget about the group crafting, he is waiting on content to be made for it. He doesn't want to release a feature without content.
