More Waste

Come on SE, it's been 5 years, how have you not seen the error in this. Replacing equipment so quickly you've gotten to the point that you can't really obtain some of them before they become obsolete.

I know you can obtain the Scaevan Magitek weapons via Savage Alphascape but it's now finally week 7 in which you can get them with Genesis and you're already releasing new content that will dwarf the weapon (Eureka).

This may sound like a lame complaint for much of the current XIV community but I would really prefer more content to USE my gear on than just the next new place to get gear. Most of us still dont even understand the point to gear in eureka, or the gear you placed in Eureka. You need to give us a reason to use this stuff in the open world, or make it significant somehow for slightly longer. We don't need two new full sets of gear per job for every patch, stagger it out more, make your work last longer!

I know this is old school talk but really for a PVE player it just feels like I have less and less incentive to even try savage content or extreme when you make it easier in a few weeks; cheapening the feel of any reward or achievement much less the use of the equipment.
