Please include Preseason

A lot of players have expressed disappointment in regards to the lack of preseason once again for the next round of Feast.

Season 10 will end on the 5th of next month, with season 11th starting straight away on the 6th (alongside the new patch).

With the next season happening again straight away alongside the new patch, this is going to happen again. I'm an avid PVE'er alongside a PVPer, and love to have little breaks in between seasons to enjoy the new content - however, the past few seasons have been released with eureka, meaning that (in my example) I have been left behind in regards to the relic.

Why preseason when the feedback gathered there can't make it to the next season anyway? Then you can use the "main"season to test changes. The only advantage is that you have more dev time to come up with rewards and PvP changes.

New people will have to jump into Ranked anyway, players not getting good games is not the fault of having no preseason though. It is actually good that we see new faces or we run into less and the same guys over and over.

They could ofc change the reward structure so you don't feel you are missing out, if you skip one season.

I think most players playing atm actually like PvP, but the elements that enforce lower skill ceiling and rng elements like medalstacks, makes matches more a diceroll and lead to frustration rather than fun. The underlying issue is once again, feast needs more depth. In pre-SB PvP you had strong buffs and strong mitigation, correct use was very important, now all your skills are pressed more or less on cooldown = no optimization possible.

Edit: One big advantage of no pre season is also... that we do not have to claim our rewards in a 1-2 week time window. Not few players missed out their tier rewards by not speaking to the npc. When a new season starts after a preseason, it is too late.

Nobody, at least on Primal, queues for pre-season anyway unless they're hosting an event or something.

I agree, they need to stagger the release of the new PVP season so that it doesn't affect Eureka for those of us who are doing relic AND trying to climb the boards.

I feel like my point is being missed. Myself and others are not asking for a preseason because we like to play it, on the contrary - we are asking because we want a break. I don't think people are reading the initial post, unfortunately.

What is trying to be pushed across is that not having a break between seasons (which has been previously called a pre-season - hence the title), is effecting a lot of people's enjoyment of the game and making them miss out on various PVE aspects.

Delete preseason. I really don't care, no-one queues for it -- but give us a rest in between seasons. This rest is usually called a preseason. If people think I am asking for a preseason because I want to queue into it, they have clearly not read the first post and relied solely on assumptions from the title.

Pretty much agreed, when I got up this morning and realised the new season starts tomorrow I was like "Huh, what?" because tbh I was looking forward to getting some extremes done and some savage since I don't play every day and the time I had last season was spent queueing for feast, I was hoping for a few weeks to try some PvE but I find myself in a position of having to pick one again.

Yep, I understood perfectly. I stated that no one queues for it so that the dev team knows it's not being used anyway and to give us breather. Some of us like to do relic AND climb the boards.
