I'm guessing that SE adapted the name since the name does sound like it could be a pair of Japanese swords. (i.e. Shinobigatana)

Hmm, I really like the idea that SE adopted the hebrew name for a demon because of "gatana," which is how you spell "katana" when it's a suffix combined with another word in Japanese. Linguistic coincidences like that amuse me a lot xD

I wonder if Japanese players will be spelling it サルガタナス or with some kind of slang like サル刀ス (the second one uses the kanji for katana lol).
