pagos post pyros and beyond

On nov 6 pyros is released all but ensuring a quick death to pagos. My concern is what is going to happen to light farming,nm train, relicsetc. There really hasn't been a second wave of players to pagos. People keep saying to lvl in anemos because pagos is so bad.

I am alrdy at max lvl but have two more weapons to go. Light farms are not as prevalent as before. Most people just nm trains which is great for crystals at the upper ones. If there was anything else need to be done it's in inc to crystal for the lower ones none of this 5 to 1 crystals.

If pagos grinds to a halt what is going to happen to relic progression? Anemos was great start but people will ditch pagos and work towards pyros so unless your planning to have light be generated in pyros and crystals something needs to be done.

For comparison sakes you can still find groups for 3.0 light farms. It will not be as easy for eurkea relic weapons.

I am worried about this. The past 2 patches felt underwhelming so I ended up completely ignoring Pagos, not even aware that Pyros was coming. Now I feel kind of stressed because I haven't set foot in the place. How are we going to progress our weapons? I assume Pagos will see adjustments similar to Anemos, but I'm not sure it'll be enough for Pagos.

I just hope that when I get to Lagos I'll be able to farm the triad cards ;(

I have no idea, but I'm not stressing over it.

If the majority of players panic and force themselves through Pagos last minute, then Pyros gets a large playerbase and the devs can sit back and assume everything is fine. If however players refuse to do Pagos because it isn't fun and Pyros has barely a handful of players, it's on Enix to tackle the source. Which means it would be far more likely the devs would be forced to sit up and address Pagos first.

At best, I may do my Challenge Log, but like Liam, I'm not worrying about it. They either have to substantially nerf Pagos and/or allow progression for previous steps to somehow work in Pyros. If they shrug their shoulders and hope for the best, I'll simply not get any of the Stormblood relics beyond Anemos and continue to point out the horrendous lack of foresight the devs have should this occur.

IMO, Pagos was the worst gameplay I have ever experienced in my 20 yrs of MMO play. I suffered through it for the first 8 days of launch, got 1 relic weapon and never went back. My main's IL is mostly 390 and job chars 370-380 and I doubt the new area has gear any better than that so I am unsure if I want to even bother. The hell that was Pagos ruined my experience for this kind of content.

Tbh soloing monster awards a rather decent chunk of light with the latest buff. I got 15~20% every 3~4 mobs. Considering It takes less than a minute to kill one (of my level) I grinders my log for 3h and got 7 lights.
So... It's not super fast but its definitely better than on release and actually soloable.

Yes they did buff light for Pagos. Pyros is no better imo except the xp gain is way faster with logs and NMs. Still the SSDD with ppl in your group running all over rather than staying together to fight mobs.
