I could find the post where you ask me "Are you stupid?"
Considering that you are the first person to throw around insults, don't you think it's hypocritcal to call me out for "insulting" you after you have done so to me on more than one count?

Edit: you are the one whose posts are fully rediculous, you think that SE should or has some sort of obligation to cater to your every whim because you are so freakin bored of this game or because the patch information hasn't been released yet, or yet again because the patch itself isn't implemented yet. Yet you STILL cannot find any proof that SE has commited to releasing ANYTHING on ANY SPECIFIC DAY.
Even SE's Roadmap is JUST THAT: A ROADMAP. It is used to give them a sense of timing and direction, but they aren't going to fire personnel forbeing unable to release information based upon a projection of the time it MIGHT or COULD take them to complete something.
Get over your self Vackashken. You are so full of self pride and self worth it's unbelievable.

No, that was a question based on the absurdity of your retort. I wasn't actually calling you stupid. I was simply curious. though, as this thread goes on, and the laughable justification you come up with go on, I suppose you're answering that question.I could find the post where you ask me "Are you stupid?"

See, thats a clever way of getting my point across. If you need a more dumbed down version you'll understand: Yer face is stupid.

Your pixels are a joke.
But seriously:
Using "aimed", "about" and "pushing really hard" as a time frame aren't even remotely close to giving a definite, confirmed date. Should they be communicating a little bit more regarding the state/progress of the patch, or perhaps another preview? Sure.I’d also like to share some info on the release schedule for 1.21. We’d originally aimed for the patch to go live in the second week of February, but after looking over the amount of content and all the accompanying UI changes, localization, balancing, QA’ing, and such, we’re currently looking at a delay of about two weeks. We’re pushing really hard for an end-of-February release, but ask that you wait a bit and keep an eye on the announcements we’ll be making on the forums and in Topics regarding details. (Don’t worry, none of this will have any effect on the version 2.0 schedule!)
Have lodestone announcements been made at earlier hours? Definitely, but they've also been made later in the day. If nothing is posted later today/early tomorrow then that could be a cause of concern, if you could even call it that much.
First off, in a setting like game development deadlines are really just guidelines. They really are a hopeful guess with, "I think we could have it done by this time." I've worked with programming, something of this scale can have countless things, can and will, go wrong or get delayed. When integrating code from multiple people, you pray nothing goes wrong. Then integrating that code into an already running system, you pray again. It is just the nature of programing. Not to mention the QA and testing of the code. I've debugged 500+ pages of code before, it is a task you want to shoot yourself over. My point being, the timeline they put out, was an educated guess at best.
Why do I bring this up? SE, since Yoshi took over FF14, has made habit of not putting out info until it is ready. We do not get anything until they have if fleshed out and working on a level they are comfortable with. The main issue with FF14 pre-Yoshi was they made promises and put out the plan too early; so when they fell behind they had to ship a bad unfinished product. You saw how well that went for the release of this game. Yoshi has shown he rather delay content than release unfit content.
My guess is, if they haven't put anything out yet, they are still making it worth our time. I rather have a quality product myself. I know we, the FF14 player base, feel entitled to faster updates and patches. We are paying them after all, this doesn't stop development time.
This next patch is huge and is adding a lot of well... just stuff. This 1.21 will determined if players stay or leave. If the job system fails... this game fails. I imagine they want the release of jobs and first two raid made with jobs in mind to be amazing. The job system is meant to bring life and interest back into this game. There is a lot of hype about the job system coming out and SE knows it. I can see why they are being quiet and might delay this patch, lots is riding on this patch.

Just because it's a question does not mean it isn' an insult, and there you go again continuously insulting me. As if I care.
Proof positive that you are indeed wrong Vack, there is no doubt about it. Less QQ more PewPew.Your pixels are a joke.

Seemed like a question worth asking. Because in that post you gave me the most bone-headed answer you could. So I was wondering if you were that dumb or were you trying to be dumb.
Seemed warranted.
My wants for updates and pointing out their terrible track record in this farce is whimsical? Thats strange. I had no idea it was ridiculous for us to want more ferquient updates that so many other games have down pat. I mean 1.21 is suppose to be thier saving grace at this point - wouldn't they want to showcase it more? Wouldn't they want to filter out to their dying community "Hey guys look at this cool stuff"

Instead you're like SE is under no obligation to blah blah blah.
Actually, they do have an obligation to me if they want my money. Just like everyone else.
Their marketing strategy has been abysmal from day 1.
Wow, you must be a psychologist or something. I had no idea that myself and so many others who thinks they've screwed up again are self absorbed.
Oh wait I'm not at all. I'm just a paying costumer.
