No one is preventing you from being angry/disappointed, you are still allowed to post here and raise your opinion. It doesn't change the fact that patchs always gets delayed, no matter how hard you will cry, this won't change.
A year ago we didn't even have a forum (not counting the beta one), we had no rep, and communication level was 0.
Now we gets letter of producer, reps comment, events here and there, youtube video, roadmap and all. It's not perfect but it's becoming better, and if you cannot see that then there is a huge issue.
As for your example as a graphic designer, cool story. We just don't live in the same real world I think. Delays happen often, everywhere, in all kind of activity sectors, especially when working internationally. It's always the same thing is the end, the customer only have one mean of pressure: not paying.
