This is the real question. If you're not having fun, why are you here? I know I paid SE for a 6 month sub because I enjoy the game as it is now.Huuuh... shut up all of you (without offence, just meant to be comic, but whatever...), the only reason on why I give money to SE is because I'm having Fun. This story of getting milked by SE is nonsense if we pay for them. Why paying them a subscription if we don't even have fun?

Some players believe that by paying $10 a month now, they are some kind of investors, giving their money so they can "support" SE in making a better 2.0 by giving feedback lol...
Antipika.

No, only people who dislike the game would think someone feels this way. People who are paying are paying because they enjoy the game.
Shit, I hate logic bombs too.

SE has constantly said that 2.0 won't be affected. However, they never said anything about 1.22.
You can believe that 1.22 will still come on time according to the roadmap's schedule, but you're just going to be disappointed.
1.22 may or may not be affected, they are already working on it after all, have been for a while probly
its not like they wait til 1.21 is completely done before they start work on the next one(however the team working on specific things may not move on til they finish the project they are in which case that specific feature may hold things up if its important enough)

Never said they weren't working on it. However, version updates have never come earlier than two months after the last one since 1.18's release. This gives the necessary time for players to play through the patch until utter boredom and the developers enough time to weed through feedback and put out lettered patches. Not to mention the preceding patch that we are now talking about is 1.21, hailed by SE as "the biggest patch to date" for FFXIV. They've also got plenty of time to push back 1.22 and still get 1.23 out with enough cushion to properly transition the game to 2.0.1.22 may or may not be affected, they are already working on it after all, have been for a while probly

I'm not making a sleight at SE or picking on them with regards to 1.22's release. I'm simply being practical. This almost goes back to when 1.18 was released in July and people actually thought that 1.19 was coming in August. It just isn't happening. Have fun with 1.21 when it comes next week, look forward to 1.22 coming whenever it comes.
This just sucks...
I used to look forward to coming into work at 8AM and checking the Lodestone for patch notes, indulging myself in exciting changes and additions to the game and getting pumped for the patch. I even woke up at 5AM this morning and checked the Lodestone for an update. Nothing. I mean c'mon...delay or not, I'm getting extremely anxious. This is just outright ridiculous. Oh wait, we got like 5 screenshots, oh woooooooow.

Then I felt sad for you.
