Most of those links are examples of updates, I don't seem to think it was a waste of time, but you are entitled to your own opinion.

Christ people are whiny. It's not like anyone should be even expecting the patch until next week at the earliest. And we have been getting information, maybe not a deluge, but it's hardly been a dry spell. If we see nothing at all by the end of the week I could see getting antsy, but this is utterly stupid. It's like a bus full of children crying "Are we there yet?" every 2 minutes.

I pay to play this game in its current state and love it. If the patch were to be delayed another month I would still play it. People are too concerned about things like patch notes to sit back and enjoy the work SE has put in the game the last 8 months. It's sad that the majority of the player base accepts the game and it's schedule, but the minority is always louder, right?

You're gunna have to justify that statement from the droves and droves of people who have left the game. Seems as though the majority did speak - and didn't accept the answer they got, so to speak.

How many people are in this thread whining about patch notes? Lindblum itself has 400-ish people on nearly everyday. There are NOT 400 people in this thread acting like a spoiled kid. There are 18 servers, thus making the whining in this thread minority. Have a nice day, go outside and stop complaining on the Internet.

Yeah - because the game is packed with people in comparison to say a couple months ago.

You seem to be missing the point. Take off the rage goggles. There are WAY more people playing FFXIV right now than there are bitching about it on these forums. Seriously step away from your computer and go do something productive.

How can you even claim to have any knowledge or information on the "majority" of the players, this is such a rediculous blanket term used to prop up so many useless arguments, I don't even know why I am pointing this out. Try supporting your argumentative discourse with factual evidence for once; Please.
