The only people I see being tense are the people from Besaid, and the only douche is Issachar and he isn't that bad once you get used to him =P

I guess I don't really care about RP'ers but I certainly wouldn't join an RP server unofficial or official. You may say it doesn't hurt people, but I've walked in a few too many "RP sessions" in Ru'Lewd Gardens to know I don't want anything to do with it. There are things that once seen, can never be unseen. Horrible, unnatural things...

Also saying that RP adds to the ambiance of the game isn't necessarily true and it can seriously detract from it. It is like if while watching a movie or TV show you were constantly bombarded with "fan fics" of highly varying degrees in quality and unusual sexual content. I have no problem with RP'ers doing what they want to either in private or in some secluded or designated RP location/ghetto. But if they were doing it say in the middle of ul'dah every day I would probably have to black list them, and I rarely black list anyone.
