Chocobo music idea

I remember people talking about the idea of being able to change or turn off music for certain aspects of the game, such as crafting or chocobo music. I believe the devs responded by saying they're looking into it.

Well wouldn't it be cool if they would give us an option of multiple songs to listen to while on your chocobo?! The chocobo is planned to be quite the companion in this installment so why not make riding them more exciting by giving us more music?

To make it somewhat more simple on the soundteam side and a throwback to series' fans they could simply add the chocobo themes from previous Final Fantasy games. Even including the 8-bit sounds of the first ones. Making these unlockable would make it even more interesting. Perhaps having a maxed out chocobo gives you the Final Fantasy V chocobo theme and having all the chocobo armors could unlock the Final Fantasy VII chocobo theme.

Just thought I'd push an idea inspired by FFXIII-2. Since they're already planning on adding a music toggle and the music for this has already been composed perhaps it wouldn't be too hard to implement. Of course it's not often the devs take ideas directly from the fans, but here's hoping! What do you guys think?!

Wait, you said this was inspired by FFXIII-2, does that mean FFXIII-2 has this feature? If so how does one unlock it?

In FFXIII-2 it's a fragment skill, that you unlock from collecting fragments and then going to serendipity. I forget which specific fragments you need. But once you have it you can go to your menu and select the chocobo song from the list of FFXIII and FFXIII-2 songs.
