If the ToS can get around compensation by claiming "act of God", then I think we're pretty shit out of luck. They'll suspend housing demolition or give us a couple of days at most. Don't expect anything more.

Truthfully if circumstance gets so bad, then no amount of ToS will protect them, simply put because at that time it'd be a case of them needing to do damage control.
Personally, if they give Hilda's hairstyle of Yotsuyu's outfit then I'm GUUUUUUUUD
But they aren't that bad. So I see no point for demands for compensation like this. I know loads of people still playing comfortably, it's not like the entirety of Chaos is dead, it's still arguably only a minority having issues, it just seems like way more due to how (rightfully) vocally upset they're being.

Granted I personally agree and don't see it as that bad, and see it as hyperbole. But we'll see, issue can just as easily aggregate overtime.
Mind you, I'd much rather they just use that expense into actually improving their infrastructure, and pursuing legal means. Of course talking under the assumption it isn't an attack on the ISPs.. Though it probably is.
