Any Chance of Seeing "Super Hard Mode" Content Pre-2.0?

Greetings!

Recently Yoshi-P stated that a "Super Hard Mode" for content was in the works. That being said, is there any chance of seeing this mode in pre-2.0 content? For as much as I like mopping the floor with fresh content right out if the gate that's suited for a party of Care Bears, it would be nice for a change to have the content mop the floor with my party's corpses because it's actually.. well... hard.

Yea totally. I'd like to see the game get a lot harder. In all areas.

If I'm not mistaken he did say recently that there was content on the way that was "much harder" than current content.

Extra hard mode Ifrit. drops Ifrit Armor instead of weapons.

Really at this point all I want is to have challenging content that centers around my party vs the content, as opposed to my party vs server lag, animation lock, etc.
