    [ Suggestion ] I got a few

    Crafting
    • Make desynthesis worth doing. Better unique rewards? Just seems like it's not worth doing right now and was only valid in ARR.
    • Take another look at fisher. I am ok with the spearfishing but honestly there are so many better fishing mini-games mechanics out there it's disappointing that the job just feels boring to farm with.
    • Fishing retainers - Please make them useful to have

    UI
    • Breakable elements - I want to stack my hp,mp,tp bars vertical instead of horizontal. I would like to have a separate element for my target and my target of target.
    • Resizing of health bars that don't effect buffs/debuff size. I find the target bar doesn't need to be that wide and my focus bar isn't wide enough.
    • A new option to have my debuffs/buffs as the first listed on the focus bar.

    Content
    • A new alliance raid - Siege
      • Two groups of DoW and DoM - Protection groups - they defend the walls south and north of a keep/castle
      • One group of DoH - Various crafters to do a several things
        • CRP, BSM, ARM, LTW repair catapults/ballistas, prep ammo
        • GSM, WVR, ALC prep ammo - and items for DoW/DoM group to use for buffs
        • CUL preps food that make NPCs assist faster with repairing/preping siege equipment and food for DoW/DoM group to use for buffs
      • All DoH can use the siege equipment
      • Phase attacks allows for DoH group to prep equipment, prep buffs
      • Boss fights are heavy fortified moving equipment that needs to be made vulnerable to catapults/ballistas

    your idea was already in 1.0 it was called Hamlet Defense. don't think they'll ever be revisiting that idea. as for desynth the only thing I can think of that is worth doing is anything that can desynth Shinryu weapons to get scales. They stopped caring about putting anything good behind desynth (esp the swimwear) and I'm really disappointed. I'm going to be resetting my CUL desynth soon because it's too annoying to get it any further than 320 right now. As for fishing in general - it was never meant to be anything big - it's mainly a distraction. sure some CUL recipes require fish but for the most part fishing and big fishing is just something you do to waste time. Fishing retainers are useful for the rare minions they can bring back though so I do have one of those in my employ. As long as a minion is locked behind a fishing retainer venture i will keep one.

    Hamlet Defense was broken apart for ARR into various other content (turning in items is now handled by Grand Companies at their HQs, and the defensive aspect is covered during FATEs or certain story battles), so I don't see SE bringing that back.
