Adventurer in Need updating slowly for leveling roulette?

First thing: This isn't a rant about queue times at all. I don't care if it takes 5-15 minutes to get in, or if I happen to get a cluster or not. Just seeing if anyone else happens to notice the same thing often.

I've been noticing the past few days that the Adventurer in Need bonus has not been reflecting what the leveling roulette is actually short-handed on (typically healers on Aether DC)

If the bonus says tank, and I queue up on DRK (upper 50's level), sometimes I get tossed into the waiting list around #7-10 by the time it shows my position, and other times its instant. If I queue on a 70 WAR its pretty much the same. If I cancel and queue as healer during a tank bonus, its always instant or very close to instant.

If the bonus is healer, its basically always an instant queue, and in the very, very rare event it isn't, its less than 30 seconds.

If the bonus is DPS, its the same 5-15 minute queue as usual. Instant if I try to re-queue as a different role.

At first I thought it might just be a lot of one role queueing up as soon as the bonus does update, but that wouldn't explain healer still being instant when tank has been marked as in need for a long period of time.

It does look like the bonus lags behind a bit in updating, or maybe it just doesn't seem to switch until it has a larger than usual shortage. Again, I don't mind the queue times or not getting a bonus. It just looks like the system might be acting a little weird sometimes.

I wonder if it might work systematically - say someone has queued specifically for the Lv69 dungeon and reached the top of the waiting list. So the queue-filler looks at that, says "right, you need a tank" and puts tank in need until someone of the appropriate level joins the queue and can be put in that slot,*then* it shifts to calling for a healer next? And in the meanwhile all the ineligible-for-Lv69-dungeon tanks are instead piling up in the queue, and the system isn't looking at the lack of healers in the overall roulette.

That's the only thing I can picture as to how it might be doing that. I agree with the frustration of being clearly in need even though the game doesn't reflect that.

I'm pretty sure the "in need" reflects the longest waiting queue. So while it might say "Tank in need" and you queue as a tank, that might still not have filled the healer spot for the same party. As cross-server is also taken into account, so the longest waiting queue on your server might not be the longest waiting queue data-center wide, so you might queue at the same time the longest waiting party was filled, thus creating another "in need" for the healer slot if you took the tank slot in a new party.
