Well if actually are under DDOS attack all the time my advice is to increase your security systems , it's almost a month that you still have this problem *(or excuse for your bad service), a service that we pay and i didn 't see a gift of couple of days for that in my subscription, even if it's not your problem, a serius company had already refund at least a couple of days to the customers.Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

I think if that story of "DDOS Attack" still going for long i'm going freeze my account. Sorry but i can't pay a crap service like that, not that the normal service was good because we still have to wait the server answer for every mechanics and we still die even when actually dodge it.
Please fix that crap we are tired to play after 3 oclock in the morning because your servers are Horrible , use our money to ugrade them or maybe contact someone that can help you to fix this problem , because it seems that your are not able to do it.

around 3 oclock you will be able to connect again when nobody is online in the server, probably they are waiting that lots of ppl leave this game cuz they don t have to upgrade nothing and save our money for bad moments.Well we HOPE being online soon too! xD

I have seen this message over and over of Implementing Countermesaures...........it looks there are some incompentent group of people from SE Network Team and NTT ISP who doesn't know a sh..... of how to countermeasure the DDoS attacks.
What SE is going to do for players who are in Eureaka/Pagos and doing NM Fate and die? A level lost?
What is SE Going to do to crafters that maybe lost Gils, mats, crafting because of Disconnects?
Everything is we are sorry for the inconvenience, not even a damn reduction on the next monthly fee at least for all the issues been caused. Like reading in other post and on this one too, I am thinking of re sub because not seeing a responsible, statement by SE of what they are going to do to solve this.
Runsell , I agree with you , there are so many crafts that I failed and lost materials.
I pay my sub to play basically 2 evening a week + week ends and in the busy moments for example at 21:00 most of the time the server is laggy or it's going to disconnect you , so if they don't fix this problem quickly I probably change game because we have to pay subscription, retainers , glamours, change aspect of the char, the app (that on my opinion it's pretty pointless to have kupo shit to use it ) and all these stuffs are not cheap.
In the end SE is expensive not reliable and have a really bad customer service.
Hope you going to fix fast I still have 15 days on my subscription after that I'm going to say goodbye to you.
Same with me. Every EU evening i can't be sure my duty won't end with d/c error. It's funny that every day "DDoS attacks" appear during the peak time. And it's not getting any better since they made the "EU" servers. Every evening i get lags, and 3-4 days a week i get so frequently d/c'ed it becomes impossible to enjoy the game. It's not supposed to happen after so many years of "development". Will not recommend the game to any of my friends due to lags.
Well it's not really that funny at all, the director has explicitly stated that attacks are purposely being done at peak times, and it kind of explains itself why any attacker would choose those particular timeframes.. It can often be difficult for players to login at other times, but when you know there are going to be issues around that time and maybe it's best to use the noggin once in a while.
