    Na only in FFXI is change with the element which was pretty cool like on fire day it be red and fire mobs did a lot more dmg but you can also craft HQ better on a full fire moon if you using fire crystal and pointing at the fire star lol.

    It happens in real life, too. Harvest moon. There's no need to think it's a glitch/bug/accidental/apocalyptical.

    I noticed the large moon glowing red a long long time ago, when Tanaka was still in charge. It's something that has been in the game for a long time. It happens every so often.
