Ya'll gotta remember that the servers aren't exactly the issue here, unless specifically stated, which is why some of you get dc'd while others see only the same people that usually have issues dc.

True, but the servers themselves are a bit of a running joke at this point because they're so badly...configured.

I just wish people would complain about the right part, because when some DOES actually become a problem, it'll be another one of those, "they always say its this, but its never this its that, so we will look at that first" things.

People complain about servers (hardware) when its usually the software (behind certain thing people would like implemented) or network (usually external) that is the issue.

The game servers themselves are pretty stable, even after major patches. I remember some MMO's ive played in the past where main would cause character rollbacks, loss of data, and other weird glitches other than just "this function has a slight bug that will impact a few people"

Kicked from server on last boss unable to reconnect.

Wouldnt be even half as annoying if everytime the client failed to connect IT CLOSED MAKING ME RELOG IT AGAIN TO FAIL AGAIN! ._.

When the game DCs me and fails to relog, I have to reboot my entire PC to be able to log in again because it starts giving me version errors. Extremely annoying.

Yeah, I had a version error a little while ago. What's strange to me is, despite the fact these attacks are happening on other data centers, I'm getting hit with them on Primal. I'm lagging JUST enough for it to be annoying in dungeons/raids/trials and everywhere outside, but not bad enough that the game is unplayable. Happened during the last set of attacks as well. After they supposedly ended for good I was fine up until they started with the JP servers...and now it's back.

you try saying that with a straight face when you are on a datacenter that has been having nothing but problems for the past 3 weeks. The game servers are taxed, the datacenter they picked feels like the budget of the barrel. I honestly liked it a lot more when the servers were in Canada....

Again depends entirely on where you live. The fact that the servers moved to the US doesn't mean its a huge improvement for everyone. The Us move screwed me from a 90 ping to 200 ping nice one square.. Now I am on aserver that gives me 6 Ms but the game freezes with every DOS attack.
Maybe its all enjoyable and fine but there comes a point square has to accept they cannot just all blame it on a few kids roasting a few hops. There are solutions. If DDOS was this powerful and unstoppable the entire internet could be taken out in under a week.
