Petition To Expand Character Creator

Personally, here are top 4 things I'd like regarding character creation:
1. Option to remove face marks on male miqo'te
2. Option to add eyebrows for male highlander
3. Option to pick & choose face/horn style for au ra
4. Option to add body hair (personally I find it funny that rugged roe or highlander are smooth as silk, but maybe that's just me)

I think it goes without saying that more face/hairstyle/facial feature options would be appreciated, but until we can tie the latter 2 to glamour set, I'm content with what we have right now.

Significant changes in models would require significant changes to all existing equipment. All 10s of thousands of it. Not gonna happen. Anything like that kind of effort on models is gonna be going towards making entirely new races.

I Will love more skin and hair color tones, including puré White and black for the skin to all races.

give me a booty scale, and a chisel scale for non-hyur races that clearly have mooscles (like Miqo'te). I'd also like to change body shape a little if I wanted to, like broader chest, broader shoulders, tapered hips or something, or straight/rectangular/etc.


I'd also like more skin colours. Like super pale and super dark (wasn't there a dark inky skintone for miqote's that they paled/dimmed down?).


Also, different types of ears not subjected to change via hairstyle for miqo'tes.

SE would have to really invest time and money into overhauling things. Unlike Blizzard, they've shown that they are really unwilling to do that. They're very happy with the status quo and taking our money to fund other projects instead of investing it into FFXIV.

I would be happy with just unlocking all hair and facial hair.

I wish I could find it but I recall Yoshi saying something about how he wouldn't do that because it makes the characters look to real? That made no sense to me.

Also I find it really disturbing that for four year at least, perhaps longer (I'm fairly new) that the same excuses have been used for -everything- "blah blah servers". In all that time nothing has been upgraded?

I would like some customization options relating to the character's animations. Specifically being able to choose your run animation, idle animations and so on separate from your race.

I'm not going to change my character's face at this point since it just seems right after all these years, but I do think that there should be more customization options. Especially I would like there to be some options for customizing body shape. I would even just like to make my character 5 to 10 cm taller.

It would be nice if they added more natural hair colours. There are plenty of options for weird colours like green or pink but comparatively few dark hair colours, specifically browns. I'd really like to see more options for natural looking brown and black hair.

I think a texture revamp would heavily help this game a lot of the textures on the character, for example ears, feet, hands, are all very low poly same with the butt/arms SE needs to come out with a HD texture pack in order to implement such changes problem is they're still clinging onto server issues which I don't understand this excuse after 4ish years. Other things I'd like to see are:

-Dying in layers (basically what GW2 has)
-More sliders and deeper character creation
-Revamped colors in the character creation (more vibrant colors using saturation etc)
-More facial options for males/females (more facial hair for men, more makeup options for women)
-Muscle sliders for all races
-Hair styles unlocked for every race

It's going to be very interesting if we end up getting a new race added in 5.0 but no adjustments to the playable races that exist at the moment.
