Since its a prize in a contest, I doubt it will end up on the mogstation. (It would defeat the purpose of "winning" a little bit, you know?)

I rather expect it to be used as prize in further contest that you can take part in without having to leave your house, so all further screenshot/ingame contests.

Hahahaha, if what you suggest is what ends up happening, I am ok with it. As long as we all have the same opportunity to earn it, and there are many many opportunities for it.

That the scarf is still used as a prize actually amuses me greatly - "Here, if you missed out on spending gil on it, well, ehm... you can now keep your fingers crossed to win it!"

This already looks like one of these contests o.ô;

It doesn't say you have to go to the fanfest to participate, just send a screenshot and what items you have used and some blabla and that's it. Only the voting is at the fanfest.

well recently they put some of the prizes in just a vendor with the toaist moogle
it will probably be there not anytime soon or but it will be there one day.

I get the feeling the old rewards will be phased out and this is the first of a new batch. We were able to buy several older contest rewards from the moogles recently, so this kind of furthers the theory.
