I feel it's time for more housing wards again

Been watching my server and there are never more than 1-2 plots available across all 4 areas. Right before posting this I check and there are only 2 small ones and they are in The Goblet. It makes me sad that some wards are still nearly half owned by 1 person.

We need to get to a point where SE can do away with the random cooldown time on buying plots for personal use. It's rather disgusting that for a first time person buying a plot they have to camp that area for a completely random amount of time up to 11 hours or more and still possibly not even get the plot.

It needs to get to a point where there are always several small plots open and maybe a few medium plots.

There's no nice way to point this out, but if housing is that important to you, move server. There's loads of servers with lots of houses left.

They're not going to release more houses while there's still multiple servers each with literally hundreds of houses left.

I've heard that they're working on allowing alts to share houses account-wide. I don't know if this would solve the problem of people who already have multiple houses, but it should mitigate the problem in the future.

Theres no easy way to put this, but....you are going to have to really WORK to find something. Like, what we all had to do 1-2yrs ago. Drop everything and check all housing wards on top of the hr, every hr. Camp out late at night. Buy ANY crappy small just to get your foot in the door, then relocate to your dream plot. That's what I did. I bought a crappy goblet small as my first house, saved up Gil, then two months later, camped out for three weeks till I got a mist med. Then camped out every top of the hr that I was online, and it took me 4 months more to get a large. Spread the word that you are looking for a plot, tell all your friends, check PF, ride your mount around wards, and write down numbers of plots that look deserted. Make a list of owners. Check that list every day. Get obsessed. That's how you get what you want in this game. No one will hand it over to you.

I'd just be happy with more apartments, tbh. I'm on Mateus so it's a little bit crowded, but in the meantime I have an FC room. Making apartments bigger wouldn't hurt, either. I don't really think a large plot is something I want, but I definitely would like a place for RP friends and party members to meet.

There should still be plenty of apartments available. Have you checked the buildings in each ward/subdivision? Each one has its own set of apartments.

Buy the cheapest small plot you can find, that way if your dream plot becomes available you can insta relocate

Or if it is really important to you as a player move to a server that has plenty of housing. I've had open smalls in my LB ward since SE turned demolition back on. While available large houses are as rare as hens teeth mediums are pretty easy to find as well.
