[SPOILER] Please let us use /gpose while transfigured.

Hello!

I'm happy than we can run around as some NPCs again at this year's All Saints' Wake event. It's fun doing emotes as other characters and seeing how they look like. ^^

But why can't we use /gpose while we are an NPC? If another player who is not transfigured activates /gpose, they see you as that NPC. But you yourself can't enter /gpose.

You can't even create nice screenshots without /gpose. How am I supposed to make funny pictures with Sadu and Magnai if I can't stop their movement during emotes and change the lighting?

I get that we can't draw our weapon and use abilities (but at the same time I don't get that either), but at least let us use /gpose for great screenshots. I mean, you gave us the ability to use emotes!

Oh, and while I'm at it: please let us also use /gpose while we're in this roleplay mode where we were playing as Alphinaud and Y'shtola.

This, a thousand times this. My Eorzean-City-State idol group (ECS for short) needs better promotional photos than just "turn off UI"! They need hearts and sparkles!

This is my favourite thing. I stand around as Sadu and almost everyone that picks Magnai plays along - doting, /charmed, denial, doubting, and then lots of shadowboxing.

Could you work around it by getting someone else to take the photos? You can focus on characters other than yourself, or use first-person mode.

Would love for this to get a hot fix before the event is over, on being optimistic. But actually don't see this getting anywhere near in time so maybe expect it next year, if at all. Wouldn't mind being absolutely wrong though.

To be fair, Iscah is right - someone else who isn't transformed can /gpose you. It's just not as fun if you have to find a cameraman!
