Relic should be the same ilvl as the primal weapon at most because it requires no skill to get.

I am going to have to disagree with this request. Whilst the relic is a grind and deserves a high ilvl I don't think it should be on par or greater than the raid weapon as the raid is a dedication of actual skill vs the relic which is just following mundane repeated simple tasks.
10,000 Pagos Crystals / 250 Lights for 1 weapon with comparable Ilvl and stats to a Raid weapon that is easily obtainable with a static is mundane? lol.
It should be the same iLvl as the primal weapon, released along with the initial patch, and have an upgrade item from the 2nd savage fight (if it's released during an even patch)
This wouldn't invalidate the raid weapon (which would still be 5ilvls higher), while the upgrade would still require some effort.
The primal weapon wouldn't be invalidated because it's a choice of getting a weapon quick, or grinding for one.
Yeah, no. No one's going to gate the weapon that's known for being available to everyone and just requiring time commitment behind raiding.Ok sure, released at same time as the raid.
But then, make the last requirement to upgrade to highest Ilvl of that patch an item that drops from the final boss in savage of that tier.
And to the people that no doubt wil come complain on my suggestion. You DON'T need highest Ilvl if you don't do savage. Period.
There need to be more locked rewards available only to people who put time and effort into obtaining it.
You don't need highest ilvl if you're not going to do Ultimate, either. And in the next tier it's usually surpassed by crafted gear anyway. Even worse if it's the last tier, then you don't have anything to use the highest ilvl on.
There's plenty of time-gated rewards behind raiding:
- access to tome weapons after 3 weeks instead of 7
- their upgrade items
- exclusive gear
More or less my thoughts, I don't feel like relics should = top end savage weapons, except maybe for the last patch or something in the final relic weapon. Maybe come close, but the most difficult content should give the most powerful rewards, and the Eureka grind, while tedious and annoying, does not take skill, it's just a time sink. Having it = the primal weapon of the current patch seems like a good means of having it be worthwhile for non raiders but not contending for most powerful weapons at the time.
And no this isn't coming from some elitist raider who doesn't want 'the casuals' to have good stuff, I don't touch savage raids or even most ex primals.
it would remove any incentive to do Savage. the way it was done in HW was fine... How it is done now isn't good sadly. But I would really be against the notion of a relic being on par with a savage weapon out of the gate let there be a 5 ilevel difference. on top of that the relics are just being released way too slow sadly.I think it will give everyone something to work on, and give them a reason to play a bit more.
Having the option of grinding for the Relic/Eurekan weapon released at the same time of the new Raid wing would definitely increase activity.
To balance it, Dev's can initially make the requirements for completing the Relic/Eurekan weapons Incredibly high. Like 10,000 Pagos Crystals and 250 lights. Then reduce it each patch.

Besides harder content/completion sake,armor/glamor,Accessories and mount
