I've got nothing for the glamour bit. I almost feel like something was lost in translation. Is it because of the heavy-armor aspect being associated with tanks and why you don't really see just cloth (like BLM/SMN/RDM/SCH/AST/WHM) or leather (like NIN/BRD/MCH) for them? Then that's an argument of keeping a certain ... ah, I can't think of the actual word that I want ... silhouette(?) of the job, not ridiculousness of how it might look to another person. I'd love to have a mix of armor and cloth for red mage, considering they actually go toe-to-toe with foes - it's immersive to me to have more reinforced gear over my fellow casters.

I sincerely hope a lot of the answers to the questions in this interview are mistranslated. (~snip~) Either that or he's frustrated because people keep asking him about the same things and he has nothing new to tell them.

I hope this is the reason. You can see over the years, if you've paid attention, that he's slowly getting tired of answering the same things year after year, but trying to maintain a certain demeanor. I wonder how much Yoshida actually dreads the Q&As from players and game journalists that echo these same player questions? Seriously, how many years did we get to about asking for the male bunny set (and do you know how few people I actually see in either male or female versions after the initial hype over them was over)?
