    Anyone else want more positioning mechanics?

    Granted this is something that probably works better for dungeons than raid boss fights.

    But I like little things here and there like the steam vents in Sohm Al Hard where you can debuff enemies by positioning them near the vents, or in Arboretum Hard bringing muddy enemies under the flowing water to wash them off.

    I kind of wish more dungeons had little things like these. (Or maybe they do and I'm just bad and not picking up on them?) Helps to make tanking in dungeons a bit more interesting.

    Personally I'd like to see more things like this, whether it be leading enemies into traps to damage them or debuff them etc.

    If they could be inventive with it sure. But in the 2 examples you gave its basically the same thing, just "hold the pack here instead of there" so there really isn't anything to exciting about it because its business as usual, just in a particular spot.

    There are more dungeons with such mechanics, I can think of these at the moment, but I guess there are more:

    Halatli HM hold enemys under the hammers wich are falling down (before 1st boss)
    Amdapor HM hold enemys under the thorn branches wich hit after you (before 1st boss)
    Amdapor City HM hold enemys in the small light cone (between 1st and 2nd boss)
    Qarn HM hold enemys in the thorns (before 1st boss)
    Keeper of the Lake, the magitek drone wich is shooting at you is hurting the enemys too, so everyone should stack with the mobs to bait the AoEs (between 2nd and 3rd boss)

    Problem is these things often mess with the melee DDs too.

    True it would take some work to keep it fresh, but just having something going on beyond 'gather mobs and aoe' helps to make dungeons more interesting for me after getting them in roulette for the 10th time etc.
