It was a unique theme and partially saw a reoccurrence as a dyeable summer event reward, too. So they knew exactly what they were going for with that and bent the rule a bit.

That's an unfair argument for reasons explained above and the only reason you're picking on tanks it's because it's the most jarring difference. Both the shisui and the sky rat sets are pretty much the same (with minimal changes) for every role. Sky rat is arguably more fitting to the "leather types" of dps while shisui... is... i dunno. probably something they know players like. I mean after all it is said that school swimming costumes were what saved Tera.

I mean if tanks can't get skimpy stuff (as much as i strongly dislike the style) then how dare those healers have access to rathalos set or the wild rose set or the daystar set. *sigh* We shouldn't be petty like that.

I would like more different styles. I would like to get "sci-fi" based styles that don't have insect inspiration to them. I really liked Alexandrian gear but they always have to add a beetle? appendage that ruins the damn thing. Scaevan gear? Looks awesome but has the head of an halberd on your back for heavy armour users. Like... wth. As much as people complain about the crafted healer robe i actually like it because it has a turtle neck shirt underneath it and the embroidery bit is very pretty. I still dislike robes in general because they scale awfully on Roes.

I would like to see more gear with fur in it as well.

People complained that healer was just a recolour of the casting set so the devs switched things around and personally I ended up feeling a bit sad because there's some really cool stuff that one got that I can't use on the other anymore. Caster has the Farlander Bottoms of Casting but healers have no bottoms of that length while healer has some really nice gloves from the lvl 65 dungeon that go to MNK instead of casters.

Everything has a tradeoff.

I would also kill for some boots like Summoner boots. Seriously I just want some plain boots without any kind of florish. Sometimes keeping it simple works better.

That is why they have continuously released color palette swaps of recently released gear, and reusing old designs. They are however open to releasing previous designs, like say skirts of fending/striking/maiming for all classes. But several decide to express their desire for all restrictions to be lifted. This is not what he's looking for; at all. I am quite sure he is already WELL aware of this demand.

I highly doubt they would make job AF available to all classes/jobs. This thread is meant to offer suggestions for certain gear to be available to all classes/jobs or a lvl1 glamourable version of it since this is what Yoshi P suggest we do during the interview. I'm editing my initial post to hopefully prevent further confusion.

I believe OP wanted requests to turn "popular" gear into lvl 1 glam sets. People have just twisted this into another "lift all class restrictions" thread again.

Well it would solve the problem handedly... and outside of AF gear what's the point of restricting the looks? So they can go in and create brand-new lvl. 1 copied assets one at a time a few times year, adding even more bloat? More gear comes out to request than they could ever hope to "unlock" the look of at this rate.

If the goal is to make players happy by unlocking gearsets for them, the most elegant and time-efficient method in the long-run really might be lifting the class restrictions.

All I really want at this point is an all-class shorts with stockings leg slot glamour that doesn't change to regular pants on a male model. Tanks already have two unique models like this, and Dragoons have one, but everyone else is sadly out of luck.

The Arachne culottes of healing/casting would be my model of choice, since they're not only nice looking, but also dye well.

for those who dont know, removing glam restrictions would literally be as simple as (1) unchecking a box, (2) checking a box that says "All", and then cleaning up the code for the next expac.
I would like to believe there is another reason YoshiP isnt budging but I cant see one.

There have been some Dragoon armor pieces that would look great on a tank I've had my eye on. Would be great if restrictions on non-AF gear were lifted.

I want more tribal-looking gear - like the monk SB AF gear with the tattered skins and tattoos and bits of bones and teeth. My main practically lives in the Woad set.

More things like the South Sea Talisman

A hood that doesn't look ridiculous

More armor for casting/healing classes. More cloth/leather for tank classes.
