I noticed items tend to "move" if you are more than 5 levels below the recommended level for a node. So... if you are below lv35 FSH it's probably what's causing it.

• [dev1039] When the three below conditions are met in regards to the grade and difficulty of a gathering attempt, the "sweet spot" of the approach phase will be in a fixed location.
  
  1. Class rank
  2. Values of VIT for miners, STR for botanists, and DEX for fishers
  3. Bait and lures (for fishing only)
  
  ex.) At a certain grade and difficulty, having the appropriate rank, DEX value, and bait/lure will ensure that jigging the rod precisely in the middle will result in a black eel hit.

I experienced this issue @ level 34, my first time fishing a V node. Hopefully, this goes away, now that I've fumbled my way to 35 lol. I'm reinvigorated to continue my exhilerating journey to 50, hehe.

Just use leve to lv up... especially I remember around L36 3 leves = 1 lv (with guardian aspect) and that will last until L39.
it's much faster than go through nodes. so ya... you are almost there.
