This might be a bit off topic but did they ever give a reason why you can't discuss parsing in PF?

So he's technically allowing us to parse?
Then it should be allowed to create a PF and say "Hey you will be parsed" that will cut down on a lot of problems that community currently has. I get the whole "dont say anything" in the DF but premades should be able to talk about it. It'll also help ps4 players a bit. This whole situation is really weird, what's the point in having dps checks and not be able to parse? I've also never seen a community so against improving or being told "hey you're doing this wrong".
Something needs to be done, the fear-mongering needs to stop as well.
An official parser would do more harm than good because of how people are. I have nothing against the idea of a parser, but I know how people can be. And this is something that shouldn't happen officially. The game needs to do a better job at teaching people what they're doing wrong though, there's no doubt about that.So he's technically allowing us to parse?

How would it do harm if it's only allowed to be talked about in a PF, which is basically a premade? At that point you're willingly agreeing to be parsed by joining that party (which doesn't equal harassment) and if you're not where you're at then people can mention something without getting banned. Or ps4 users can see where they're at without anyone getting banned, etc.
Yes. You can even talk about it, as long as you don't use it to harrass other players. It is true that the ToS forbid the use of third party tools, but even they know how stupid it is to forbid parsers in a game where everything revolves around dps. Also, they know full well that a very high percentage of the player base uses ACT.
A stupid restriction is bound to be ignored by those who are subject to it and will not be enforced by the regulators. That's simply how it is, both in the game and in the real world.

So I guess we'd need to figure out what SE considers harassment.
If I'm in an end game dungeon and a dps is doing like 2k damage, I wonder if saying something politely would count as harassment or not.
Probably what most reasonable individuals consider harrassment. I seriously doubt that they will start banning players because some special snowflakes felt offended that someone politely told them that they are underperforming and they need to leave the party. We are paying customers after all.
No need for a tool. Just put enrage timers in normal. Leniant ones for sure but not overly so. Like 15 minutes for normal alphascape fights, 7 minutes for dungeon bosses etc.
