Non-RPers Unite!

I just finished going through all 37 pages. Well, i actually skipped a few that seemed redundant.

I am trying to decide if I should stay on Fabul or not. I am personally not into RPing, but it will not bother me, as long as it doesn't affect my limited play time.

To be more specific: if I am invited to a party for Moggles let's say, and instead of assigning roles people talk "funny" (for lack of other words) and we are wasting time, that would mean I am affected by RPers.

From what I read from all the Besaid people that will not be the case. However, since all other servers know that Besaid was the unofficial RP server they will most likely flock to the new combined server. This could mean two things: the RP community will grow and it could interfere with normal play or some really weird folks will join the server.

I can deal with both as long as it does not interefere with my limited play time. I think this is the attitude most normal players will have going into this merger.

Arguing and insulting each other in these forums may cloud this decision for some. Ultimatelly all I am looking for is a place I can enjoy playing a game IN MY OWN WAY.

That shouldn't be an issue. As has been said MANY MANY times before, as it stands right now, the RP community on Besaid is miniscule at best, and you generally have to go out of your way to find it. I can count the amount of times I have seen it on one hand, and I have been playing since closed beta. I don't generally do PUG groups, but when I have I have never run into the issue you described. Good way to sum it up is this, back on the very first page.

Agreed. 100%. Quick pro tip - The nicest, friendliest, atmospheres are always on the RP servers. I don't RP, no one I know does, hell my dad doesnt, hes in his 60s, but yet all will play on RP servers just because the mentality of the players is different which makes the server much more akin to the old online gaming scene of the early/mid 90s where everyone was helpful, kind, and nice, even when a huge screw up happens. Everything is done tongue and cheek, everything is hilarious. I remember playing WoW and I did an emote, I got 10+ tells telling me to get my "faggot ass off this server and move to the RP servers", i laughed for like a good 10 minutes at the responses I was getting. Then moved to the RP servers where it was the most fun on that game. Hell there are reasons why "Non RP" guilds form on RP servers...

That isn't to say our server doesn't have it's fair share of elitists and general dbags, but you will get those no matter what server you pick :P

The only time I troll is when i make some of my rediculous comedy type threads that have no meaning

When im arguing with people, it is not trolling, its just me not agreeing, but people dont know the difference

i havent left the cloth ward in almost 2 months, lol, so obviously your just bringing up very old shit

and i mess with peopel in game sure, but come on now, its all in fun usualy, and ive more then admited to what ive done in this thread(youknowyouloveitwhenitalklikethistorpists!)

and if you wanna run a quiz game in shout, expect stupid answers, on purpose, if you cant, then you shouldnbt be running it in shout lol

Oh yes your the biggest troll on the forums. How did you not know this? (/sarcasm off) I don't think I've seen you really troll and people tend to act worse on the forums then they do in game.
