It varied from server to server, but it did use to cost a lot by ARR standards as it had used quite a few rare mats. The mats have since become a lot more common and I think retainers can find them while on ventures

And I think it is one of the most ugly things you can place in your house.

You can get the materials to craft that thing from running garuda ex unsynched, everyone at 70 can do that solo. But I am pretty sure some retainer brought that one couch you have there.

Anyway, tastes vary, it is super easy to craft and all retainers combined on the server likely bring more of these couches than there are people who want these things.

And it used to be like 200k+ gil in Phoenix back in the day but yeah it has dropped in price. Never seen it being 1mil.

Just because it glows doesn't mean it's rare. The mats used to be expensive (namely the feather you needed off of Garuda Ex and the frosted glass lenses) but with all the ARR primals being so easy to solo now and frosted glass lenses being much easier to obtain (instead of having to do maps, BSM can desynth them from a cheap vendor item) the price tanked. I bought my first house selling furniture like this, now I'm pleasantly surprised any time they reach over 100k.

I imagine so, but it just goes to show how out of touch he is if he thinks the ARR primal stuff should be worth a million gil.

This is the kind of thing that I regularly give away as "housewarming" presents to friends when they become new homeowners. I have a bunch of the primal mats laying around from soloing them for WT and they aren't even worth selling, they are so cheap now. Hell, I gave 4 or 5 pieces of primal stuff (this couch, Ramuh's lamps, etc.) to the friend of a friend who recently started playing and wanted to decorate their new house in a chaotic, magical-mess type of theme.
