Ok fair enough, you seem to be only looking at this from your point of view and how it effects you.
Nevermind the rest of us.

Sometimes my cats breath smells like tuna.
Because that has happened to you doesn't mean it has happened to everyone. There are several EU LSes that have survived and thrived on several different servers. You guys are arguing your point that you think having one EU server is a good idea. I think it is a bad idea.Vackashken, i dont think regional servers is something bad, i dont care if someone is japanese or german, for me is an interaction in another language, but i care if i am playing on a server where when i am playing there is noone on the streets, and when i am sleeping there are tons of people playing.
That doesn't change my perspective on this in the slightest. Just encase you're imply that I do have time I have a 6 month old son, work, weight lift, have an 11 year old step daughter. My time is limited. None of the changes the idea of pigeon holing new people onto one server.
Again, just because it didn't work out for you and other doesn't make it universal. We have worked like this for a year in this game and 5 in 11. Cornelia has a strong EU base and well as selbina plus my home fabul. You're arguing from you jaded perspective. No insult intended. Part of this games appeal is playing with many others from many other places.
Why should people (again I ask) who choose not to go there be punished? There are several EU LSes not going from a few servers. So we will never see an influx of new EU people if we don't go? They never should have designated an EU server. They should have merged worlds and let people who didn't like it go where they want. Then you would have several choices as to which EU friendly server you could have gone to.
Now future people *(if this sticks) will think they must go to 10 if they're going to have anyone to play with when that is blatantly untrue.
The Eu tag on Ragnarok is not supposed to be there permanently. Its only for the merge in order to allow the current EU people to gather here.
Once again there is a difference between english and french traduction:
Ragnarok will be recommended for players in the European time zones. This should improve the playing experience for European players, who form a small minority scattered across the Worlds, and make it easier for them to get together and form parties
In the french traduction, they clearly explain that the EU tag is here for a short time.
Ragnarok will be an international server with a strong EU base, once the servers merge is done, a new player will not see an EU tag on Ragnarok.

Hmm that changes things, not even sure I wana go there now, typical of the english translators to get it wrong again.

Because over time the server will probably end up being scewed to NA/JP again, some EU players will leave/quit and a lot of new players will come with 2.0 resulting in the EU population being watered down.
I know you don't get this, but some of us want an EU server.
You have a bizarrely depressing PoV of things.

This is just like shopping, you can go Department stores to buy Windscreen wiper (Real story for me) or an Spare Parts Shop (dont know if this is correct in english) you cant choose too much models on the first one, because is not specialized. In the end, i had to throw away it and go so Spare Parts Shops to buy the correct one to my car.
Ok is a silly example, but is to say that i prefer especific content. About you, is bad ok, but SE cant satisfy to all us, if there were not an EU server, someone could complaint about it.
And is curious how u dont care to play with another cultures and timezones, but you are worry that new EU player go Ragnarok insted your. Why this have to annoy you? you are ok with global community so.. let us have our EU server and we will be happy.
I didn't say that in even the slightest way. I said the polar opposite to that.
And this has already been settled if you look back a bit. Thanks for the interesting discussion.
