A way to sync emotes with another player

Is there a way to make an emote happen at the exact same time as another person. Like if they choose to dance is there a way to be on the same rhythm as them. Essentially doing the exact same moves at the exact same moment; or is the only way to just keep starting the emote repeatedly until you get it synced up. I ask this because a man came up to me once and immediately started dancing with me in symmetry. So, I was hoping there was a simple way to dance in sync with another player.

Only way I know of and I'm not sure if this is the case anymore or how it works was by using Gpose but again we all know that has it's limits.

I was told by some people who did it that they communicated with voice at Discord and synchronized it like that.

Good timing is really the only way to do it. I can perfectly time my squats with anyone in the game, but Byregot help me if they're doing the manderville dance. That one gives me a lot of trouble.

If you're syncing with a friend, you can use a countdown while partied up, I guess.

/gpose has two options to stop the motion: one groupal and one individual (it's the two buttons before the time controlling one, and after "View to Camera" and "Light"). You can try stopping each person on the picture individually by selecting them and playing with said button, and also, in case of a hug or a kiss or something else, stand at a proper distance from each other.

Exactly! Just remember you have to be in a party. Otherwise you'll not be able to stop each character individually. Another neat thing is you can change the viewpoint of the picture by clicking on the other character. This works even for mounts! So, you have a lot of leeway in making your characters appear to be interacting with each other.

If you wish to synchronize outside of /gpose, it takes careful timing. Luckily, the emotes rotate, it's simply a matter of hitting the emote at the start of the animation cycle.

Great idea! With the help of some macros you could put on a fine dance number.

I would like to point out though, that even if you are in sync on your screen, you might not be on their screen, due to latency. I learned this when I would try to sync my gold dance with a perpetually dancing person in Idyllshire

The other side to this is that people who zone in will see you and the other person in sync, since for them you'll load at the same time and begin the emote loop at the same time.

I wish there was a simpler way then what your all saying. I know in Guild Wars 2 if you put in say the /dance emote and add a * after it: /dance *, it holds your dance emote until the new animation cycle starts and syncs you to anyone else doing the same emote in an area. I know this isn't Guild Wars 2, but it is something I know they have as I play both.
